<div dir="ltr">At the risk of stating the obvious, people who speak a language with an RTL script natively also tend to look more on the right side for important/relevant information than the left side, and many physical objects in the world (such as book) change their direction accordingly, so we should be careful not to extrapolate the results of this telemetry experiment to all humans.  :-)<br>

What is the newtab experiment measuring? Whether the most-frecent tile gets clicked more often in the center position than the top-left?<br>

Did we consider experimenting with nine groups, one for each of the nine newtab positions? To me, the center tile is visually buried. I find the right column, and top-right position in particular, most accessible because I'm right-handed and my mouse pointer usually hangs out near my scroll bar. :)<span class="HOEnZb"><font color="#888888"><br>
