<div dir="ltr"><div><div><div><div><div>Hello,<br><br></div>  I just discovered that in builds containing the pingSender executable we are receiving duplicate "crash" pings for main crashes at the rate of about 39%. This is due to the client side assuming the server side would deduplicate based on document id.<br><br></div>  As "crash" pings are the mechanism by which we quickly measure the main crash rate in crash_aggregates, the numbers may have been and continue to be artificially inflated. (CrashAggregateView does not appear to have a deduplication mechanism like Longitudinal does)<br><br></div>  This affects builds of Firefox 54 starting on February 15, 2017.<br><br></div>  Bug: <a href="https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1345153">https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1345153</a><br><br></div>:chutten<br></div>
