Derp, forgot about that, you’re right. The internal algorithm references
the indices, but they aren’t exposed.

There are quite a few I think — in fact reductions that are order-agnostic
are a pretty important concept for parallelism, as seen in the wild in
places like MongoDB’s aggregation pipeline. Not super applicable here, but
just throwing it out there. I didn’t mean to draw attention specifically to
this method.
