let and strict mode

To reply to myself, there's also this:

    var let = [], num = 0;

    let[num] = f();

Hmmm....

I suppose a radical but safe solution would be to only allow let in strict
mode.  A carrot (or stick, depending on your point of view) to get users
into strict?
