<p class="MsoNormal"><span>We are currently testing the new Firefox ESR 78.3.1 and deployed to a small number of users. We have found for a couple of installs the user now gets the error message “The code execution cannot
 proceed because VCRuntime140_1.dll was not found” when loading Firefox.<u></u><u></u></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span>We tried removing the install, renaming user profiles and reinstalling but got the same error.<u></u><u></u></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span>We downloaded the full non ESR release of Firefox and ran the install but got the same error.<u></u><u></u></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span>We checked previous version installs and found that VCRuntime140.dll was in the install folder and this machine also had this file but it was looking for VCRuntime140_1.dll.<u></u><u></u></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span>To resolve the issue we had copy VCRuntime140_1.dll from c:\windows\systems32 to “c:\program files\Mozilla Firefox”.<u></u><u></u></span></p>
