I have seen this behavior with a number of input boxes for a few months<br>
on "standard" Linux Firefox (the Ubuntu packages). It is annoying but<br>
isn't common and I hadn't taken much notice until you asked.<br>

If/when it happens again I will note where and report it /<br>
add it to an existing bug.<br>
