<p class="MsoNormal">The conclusion there was that these reports were probably using setup.exe to update Firefox. In short, if Firefox updates itself, it keeps the distribution dir. If someone uses setup.exe to install a new version, that's called a "pave-over"

it disappears and I need to put it back in manually. On a side note, I’ve tested to see whether or not the same issue occurs upgrading from 52.8 to 60.2 and it seems to exist as well.
