In short, if Firefox updates itself, it keeps the distribution dir. <p class="MsoNormal">Has anyone else noticed or experienced an occurrence where updating Firefox deletes the policies.json file from the distributions directory (in the Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\distribution\policies.json)?

<p class="MsoNormal">I’ve recently been testing this out by manually adding the policies.json file into version 60.2 and updating to 60.3 but when I check in C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\distribution\policies.json, it disappears and I need to put it back
in manually. On a side note, I’ve tested to see whether or not the same issue occurs upgrading from 52.8 to 60.2 and it seems to exist as well.
