Hi Jim, we shipped a fix in the 78.6.1esr release to address a known crash
during video playback when running ESR78 through Rosetta. Beyond that,
we're not aware of any other issues at this time. We are not planning to
backport the native ARM64 support which shipped in the Firefox 84 release
to the ESR78 channel, however. ESR78 users on M1 hardware will be running
through Rosetta until the ESR91 release ships next July.
If you do encounter any issues, please let us know.
Thanks,
Ryan VanderMeulen
