Ni. ;-)

Probably you have 'hit' the new 'versioned' profile management; you
can disable it setting an environment variable, see:

	https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/dedicated-profiles-firefox-installation
	https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/understanding-depth-profile-installation

so definitevely the answer is 'yes', you can set the environment
variable via GPO.
