To see if you can figure out what caused this behavior?

Can you provide a little more details on a reproduction scenario and possibly open a bug in bugzilla?

we have problems again with opening local file links which refer to Word-Templates. We have had that problem also with an update last year. Then that bug was fixed.

We have lnk-files on our local disk and we refer in our intranet to that lnk-files. But since 78esr FF just offers to store the lnk-file instead of open the linked file (Word-template).

We did not change anything in our policies (we still have defined our intranet site as a safed location at GPO configuration „LocalFileLinks“.

With 68esr it runs without problems.

Can you confirm that behaviour?
