Ok got it,
it must be XPI files with the ID as name but deployed to “C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Thunderbird\distribution\extensions”
but before it was working as described …

Sascha

They can't be directories.
They need to be XPI files named the same as the ID.

Hi,
until TB version 60.x I could preinstall addons during TB deployment via SCCM per copying to "programfiles(x86)"\thunderbird\extensions\extensionID\" (we use TB x86 on Windows x64)
and I deployed 5 or 6 addons without problems. Now with 68.2.0 its not working this way anymore but I did not find any documentation about a change.
Somewhere was mentioned to deploy it to "%programfiles(x86)%\mozilla thunderbird\distribution\extensions\extensionID\" but that did not work too.
I am trying to deploy following addons (most of them are updated and are known as ready for 68.x):
tbsync at jobisoft.de<mailto:tbsync at jobisoft.de>
de_DE at dicts.j3e.de<mailto:de_DE at dicts.j3e.de>
@unitedstatesenglishdictionary
dav4tbsync at jobisoft.de<mailto:dav4tbsync at jobisoft.de>
eas4tbsync at jobisoft.de<mailto:eas4tbsync at jobisoft.de>
langpack-en-GB at thunderbird.mozilla.org<mailto:langpack-en-GB at thunderbird.mozilla.org>
Any help is welcome.
Thanks,
Sascha Osdoba
