[Mozilla Enterprise] Stop Firefox from creating a new profile on upgrade

Is there a way to force Firefox to not make a new profile when I do 
upgrade or uninstall/reinstall?  I'd say about 80% of the time it 
creates a new profile (sometimes it tells me, sometimes I have to notice 
it on my own).  Very frustrating.
