2 NPAPI/ActiveX products contain Shockwave in the name
Flash Player (eol 2020) :
NPAPI plugin name "Shockwave Flash"
ActiveX name "Shockwave Flash Object"
Shockwave Player (eol April 2019)
NPAPI plugin name "Shockwave for Director" (no longer works in Firefox)
ActiveX name "Shockwave ActiveX Control"
Hope that helps.

I am bit confused. Isn't Shockwave a separate plug-in from Flash? Shockwave goes way next month, but Flash continues along for a little bit longer. Does Firefox even support Shockwave still? If so, it is just ESR or Rapid Release? I ask because most articles seem to be very old...from years ago. I do not see any mention of Shockwave using the NPAPI.

Good Afternoon,
When will the support for Shockwave Flash player end for Firefox? I know effective 4/9/2019, Adobe Shockwave will be discontinued.
