Great tips,
Also for ESR if you are using policies.json in the distribution subfolder - don't forget to put this in your ini file!
RemoveDistributionDir=false
Thank you,

While I do not use GPO to deploy anything, I never uninstall the prior version of Firefox or Firefox ESR. I just run the same installer routine as I did when I installed it way back when.
Non-ESR:
msiexec.exe /i "Firefox Setup 66.0.msi" ALLUSERS=1 /qn /norestart /log output.log TRANSFORMS="Firefox_1.0.mst"
ESR:
Firefox Setup 60.6.0esr.exe /INI="%CD%\Firefox.ini"

Subject: [Mozilla Enterprise] Windows GPO and manual Firefox updates
Hi!
I deployed Firefox 65.0.2 last week with a GPO and decided to be rolling out updates manually so I disabled auto updates. Now version 66.0 came out and am looking at rolling it out. I added the new msi file to the GPO and am looking at the "Upgrades" tab in its properties. When I click "Add" I can select the package it will update (65.0.2 in this case) but am unsure which option below to choose? Should it be "Uninstall the existing package, then install the upgrade package" or "Package can upgrade over the existing package"? This is on Windows.
