[Mozilla Enterprise] Error message with autoconfig and Firefox ESR 68

Disabling / Enabling HSTS (security.mixed_content.use_hstsc) would be nice, by example.


Although I dont use it right now, il may be useful in some situation

I'm not sure it's already in policy.

CCK2 will always need to be updated for ESR updates (and most Firefox releases).

Firefox changes under the cover and your files need to be updated.

I've released a new CCK2 that has Firefox 68 compatibility

Firefox 68 will be the last ESR that supports CCK2, so I strongly recommend moving to policies (and letting me know if you need things that aren't there).

same here, configuration file could not be read – reduced some settings in it but same, if cfg-file is empty it will start without message, cfg-file attached (changed some urls)

profile wizard was starting after changing from 60.8.0 to 68 – this isn’t normal

on 60.8.0 my profile was set to restore last session at start which was not set after change

no deeper look into it until now but this is enough for a first look :)

used MSI installer for v68, Exe for 60.8

Hello,

I just tried my autoconfig file (CCK2 Wizard 2.4) with Firefox ESR 68 and I get the following error message:

"Failure when reading the configuration file. Please contact your system administrator."
("Échec lors de la lecture du fichier de configuration. Veuillez contacter votre administrateur système.")

Is it related to sandboxing or something ?
What should I do ? Disable it in autoconfig.js ?
