I think it should be added in pages like this one : https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Mozilla/Command_Line_Options
Or like this one : https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/reset-preferences-fix-problems

Because when you search on the web for this you only find the manual way to do it (by going into “Troubleshooting information” or in the safe mode)

Yes. You can invoke Firefox with the -reset-profile parameter.

In Firefox, the users can go in about:support and click the “repair profile” button on the right

We would like to launch exactly that function but in an external way (using a command line for example)

Is there a way to do it ?
