[Mozilla Enterprise] Translation between CCK2 / Autoconfig and policy file?

Is there a matching document / translation? Program? Update to CCK2? 
Ought I just post my current config here for help translating?

I'd like to keep deploying with Puppet the same policy on our linux and 
windows computers if possible. Is there a way to have a version appear 
in Help -> About Firefox like the CCK2 versions do so we can quickly 
validate if the config is loaded is the latest version for us?
