Hi Mike,


thanks for this supplement of the Firefox policies.

- The policy "Adding security device" works fine and shorten the start of Firefox enormously

- The policy "Setting a default locale " is not quite clear to me. I could add e.g. 4 languages  de, hu, it, es

to this policy. Only the first one changes the language. Is there a possibility to change the language within Firefox

or what is the sense to add more than one language to this policy ?


- You also asked what is missing.:

For our company it would be helpful when we could differentiate the clearonshutdown items via policy.

Now only all could be cleared with the policy " Clear all data when browser is closed<https://getadmx.com/?Category=Firefox&Policy=Mozilla.Policies.Firefox::C_SanitizeOnShutdown> "

If there were several different possibilities like we were using in the config file :

lockPref("privacy.sanitize.sanitizeOnShutdown", true);
lockPref("places.history.enabled", false);
lockPref("privacy.clearOnShutdown.cache", true);
lockPref("privacy.clearOnShutdown.cookies", true);
lockPref("privacy.clearOnShutdown.downloads", true);
lockPref("privacy.clearOnShutdown.formdata", true);
lockPref("privacy.clearOnShutdown.history", false);
lockPref("privacy.clearOnShutdown.offlineApps", false);
lockPref("privacy.clearOnShutdown.openWindows", false);
lockPref("privacy.clearOnShutdown.sessions", true);
lockPref("privacy.clearOnShutdown.siteSettings", false);

it would be fine


Another point would be the newtab setting via policy

lockPref("browser.newtabpage.enabled", false);


Within the policy " Installing certificates " is there a possibility to set this value as well

defaultPref("security.default_personal_cert", "Select Automatically");
