To me, it’s important that we are proactive in offering account merging and migration, and offer it in places that user expects to find it (for example, the “My Apps” page). This, rather than wait for complaints. Of course, the offering to migrate doesn’t appear when the situation is not relevant anymore.<br>

Attached is a document (though rough as it may be) describing the needs, user stories, and issues regarding migrating Marketplace Accounts using Persona to Firefox Accounts.<br>
The main issues, I believe will be around 2 areas:<br>
1. when the persona email address from a legacy MP account is not the same as the newly created Firefox Account. The question is how to recognize this and prompt the user, or should we wait for the user to see that she is missing apps and offer a link to a web page where she can migrate her account?<br>
2. what is involved in migrating an account - do application receipts need to be reissued and replaced?<br>
