[dev-addons] Extension Feature Request: Hide Status Bar Loading

I build a product call Big Screen (https://bigscreen.show) that works
similar to Powerpoint except its in a browser. When I load a youtube video
on a fullscreen presentation it shows the loading status bar down the
bottom left. It would be nice to be able to turn off the loading status bar
via an extension. I have managed to turn it off in Firefox via a change to
userChrome.css but a solutions for all browsers would be awesome.
