Hi everyone,<br><br>A few things regarding AMO localization:<br><br>1) The following pages have had l10n changes:<br>nomination.thtml - added a new bullet point<br>submission_help.thtml - added text to several different items
<br><br>The following gettext strings are new:<br>devcp_error_nominate_no_prerelease<br><br>The following gettext strings were changed:<br>devcp_skip_reviewing_addon_info - (one word change for clarity)<br><br>2) We are looking into getting localizers SVN access to their locales. Wil is currently discussing with server operations how they'd like us to handle the bug situation, and then we'll let you know how to get access so that you don't have to constantly update the gettext bugs.
<br><br>3) We are aiming for current trunk to be pushed live towards the end of this week, so please have any updated translations/pages/etc in your bugs by Thursday. The above changes *should* be the last for this batch. We're working on establishing l10n policies so that we have a more organized routine for this sort of thing.
<br><br>4) With the next update, a new Localizer Control Panel will be live.
This will allow you to update the dynamic data such as add-on type description and categories yourself. It will also have a listing of all the pages and whether they've been translated, and show you any gettext strings it thinks haven't been translated yet.
<br><br>I have gone through and added anyone that filed an AMO l10n bug and has an AMO account to the appropriate group, as shown below. If you are the original localizer and don't have an AMO account, just make one and reply and I'll add you. If you are not the original localizer and would still like read-only access, reply and tell me. If you are not the original localizer and would like write access, have the original localizer reply and explain why you need write access.
